6. Honestly, the food there isn't even good. A cheese stick wrapped in a wonton is not a mozzarella stick - in my opinion.
My wife and I tried this place out for the first time and we're pleasantly surprised! Atmosphere was nice, service was superb, food was outstanding. We were both imoressed. We will definitely be back! Might be the best place in Galesburg to dine.
1. I don't feel safe drinking or eating in a place that doesn't take harassment allegations against people employed there very seriously. By trying to discredit the victim, they showed me that their reputation was more important than the customer - in my opinion.
5. I don't frequent establishments that don't hold their employees accountable for their actions - just a personal stance.
The girlfriend and I came in on hot wings night. The wings were very large, fresh,and a large variety of great sauces. The owner is really nice guy. Can't wait to come back and try there hand cut steaks.
Reasons why I won't be giving Cherry Street my business anymore:
Had a family gathering. Have not been in sometime. Was very disappointed last year. The food was great! Service, the guys were fun. All the family said well done. I would have given 5 stars but, hey I'm retired military
4. I also prefer establishments that ID every person (and can tell the difference between a real one and a fake one) It shows responsibility - in my opinion.
2. I don't like to support businesses that can't be upfront when a mistake is made and own up to it. Being sneaky is just as bad as being dishonest - in my opinion.
3. I prefer establishments where the bartenders are trained to know when to cut someone off - it is just as important for them to know when to say no as it is for those of us making the decision to drink - in my opinion.
I love this place. The bread pudding is to die for. My favorite place in Galesburg. Try it.
