Good basic accommodations. Clean, not noisy, dark enough. Breakfast was fine. Good value.
The folk at the Lodge are very friendly, and put out an excellent breakfast spread. I've always had clean rooms, quiet halls. They're my go-to hotel for Galesburg.
Better than expected! I felt safe, the bed and pillows were very comfy, the tv worked and it was close to the college. Not bad! I would definitely stay here again.
I'm currently in room 119 and this has been the stay from hell. I checked in around 11pm and this room is so disgusting. The front desk has apologized many times but nothing was cleaned, I don't feel comfortable taking a shower here, my coffee pot had old coffee in it, I found a brown rag in the bathroom, mirrors dirty and I'm not sure if the bed is even clean at this point. I can't believe I was charged 84 dollars for this.
Compared to the hotel we chose to stay at the first 2 nights in Galesburg IL, it was 5 star worthy. Clean, nice floor layout, cheaper, cash only accepted, and no bed bugs. Hallelujah
